"always teaching"

Day 4 - Today I am thankful for being reminded that I'm always an example. The thought came in the smallest way but with a big meaning I guess. Like I said before, most of my posts will be about the kids I nanny/babysit considering I'm with them most of my day. Ellie, who's 1 mind you, was getting into something today and so I said, "No no Ellie" and I always sign "no-no" anytime I say it. (I have a habit of signing what I say lol) So shortly after I had just gotten done telling her no, the two older boys were "arguing" on the couch and Ellie walked over, signed AND said, "NO-NO!" I was proud that she had caught on but in the same aspect was reminded that what I teach these kids and the way I treat them and everyone else around me makes a difference. I am always teaching whether it be my words, actions, feelings, or signs ;) The questions is, "Am I teaching Christ?"

Isn't it cool to see God work through a simple situation like that? He showed me how I should always be teaching Christ just in a little girl's gestures. :)

--> PS - This might look like a "mean" face, but it's actually not. She's super sweet and has the funniest expressions and she just "gets into it" I guess you could say lol She's signing "NO-NO" :)

  1. Hey Brandi! I like your blog! Now I can see pics of my adorable niece and nephew since I don't get to see them much anymore. That pic is hilarious!
